CONSHOHOCKEN, PA, May 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Invata Intralogistics, Inc., an innovative authority in the design, implementation, and life cycle support of automated distribution and fulfillment center operations, today announced it will integrate its FastTrak WM+ software platform on an expedited basis into the '47 Brand manufacturing and distribution operation at its 300,000 square foot facility in Brockton, Massachusetts.

A major manufacturer of sports apparel, '47 Brand is a proud licensed partner of Major League Baseball, the National Football League, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association, and over 650 universities and colleges. Their team branded apparel can be found in team stores, college bookstores, sports specialty shops, and a host of other retailers around the country.

'47 Brand will incorporate FastTrak's WM+ Warehouse Management System functionality throughout its entire distribution operation and utilize FastTrak's WM+ Warehouse Control System functionality to control its receiving, put away routing, and sortation systems. The decision to implement Invata's FastTrak WM+ Software was made to take advantage of FastTrak's advanced functionality and its ability to seamlessly integrate with '47 Brand's current business processes. The new software will accommodate '47 Brand's future growth and be backed by the 24/7/365 level of support that '47 Brand requires to meet its client's expectations. The integration will be completed in time to allow '47 Brand to realize the benefits to its business during their busy fall season.

Invata's FastTrak WM+ Software Platform provides WMS, WCS, OMS, and TMS functionality for receiving, put away, routing, replenishment, order picking, packing, manifesting, sortation, and shipping in a single seamlessly integrated platform. The RF components, workstations and real-time controllers all prioritize and execute tasks in accordance with FastTrak's high performance centralized database. The system is delivered with a simple, scalable architecture, which will adapt easily to '47 Brand's current and future business needs.

"We are very pleased to be adding '47 Brand to our growing list of WM+ implementations," said Ryan Sheehan, CEO of Invata. "They are a leader in their field and have a great company culture that will be a good fit for us on a fast paced project like this. We are also excited about the way they will be using our integrated WMS and WCS technology. We look forward to a long relationship with them."

Joe Keane, COO of '47 Brand, said, "We looked very closely at Invata as well as a number of other potential WMS suppliers. It was obvious that Invata's purpose built deployment of integrated WMS/WCS software was well suited to our needs. It didn't take long to determine they not only had the right software, but were the right organization to deliver it to us." He added, "Invata's track record of working hand in hand with our consultant, Boston Industrial Consulting, greatly enhanced our comfort factor that the project will go smoothly from beginning to end."
