Author Katina Makris To Speak At National Lyme Disease Rally On May 25th, 2013 In Washington DC

SUPPLY, NC, May 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) Author, speaker, Homeopath and Lyme recoveree Katina Makris will appear at the National Lyme Disease Rally to be held in Washington DC on May 25th, 2013. The title of her presentation is "Mending the Emotional And Spiritual Wounds of Lyme Disease".

As in the past, the MAYDAY Rally's focus will be to promote awareness of Lyme Disease, to continue to build camaraderie within the ever-growing community, and to encourage elected officials and insurance companies to take action.

"The Lyme Disease Rally," Makris stated, "has a lineup of doctors, lawyers, authors and advocates speaking out, to usher in Lyme disease awareness, better doctor education, improved diagnostics and to urge the government to expand prevention measures as well as initiate more thorough medical insurance coverage regarding this surging epidemic, which has now surpassed HIV as fastest spreading infectious illness in USA.
