Nannies Can't Wait For Nanny Magazine

Nannies across the United States support the January 2014 launch of a print publication just for them.

2013-05-25
CHICAGO, IL, May 25, 2013 (Press-News.org) Nannies and other childcare professionals across the country are gearing up for the January 2014 launch of Nanny Magazine. The publication will be the first of its kind in the United States.

Nannies have unique needs and responsibilities as compared with other childcarers, and nannying presents a different set of challenges than what parents experience. For these reasons, Nanny Magazine fills an important need in the childcare community, providing the need-to-know content relevant to nannies that parenting magazines simply don't cover.

Chelle Cochran of Frederick MD, a nanny for three children, including a set of twins is excited for Nanny Magazine. "Nanny Magazine fills a specific void untouched by parenting magazines. I am thrilled that it will also provide nannies with their own sense of community," she says.

Jaynie Patricia Fawley of Kalamazoo MI is just as excited. "There has been a need for a nanny publication for decades, and finally we nannies have a publication to call our very own! I have been waiting for something like this for a long, long time."

The magazine will launch its first issue, available in print and electronic formats, in January 2014. Articles are currently available on the magazine's website, http://www.nannymag.com. Nanny Magazine will continue to publish articles online twice weekly.

Nanny Magazine is owned by editors Jennifer Kuhn of the Washington DC metro area, a graduate of The George Washington University's Publishing program and of Eastern Connecticut State University, and Whitney Tang of Chicago, a graduate of Loyola University. Combined, they have over ten years' professional nannying experience.

For more information about Nanny Magazine, including contributor guidelines, editorial calendar, and advertising rate sheet, please visit http://www.nannymag.com.

Nanny Magazine, launching in January 2014, is the only magazine for American nannies. For more information, please visit us online.
