In this role, Randolph will focus on connecting with business owners in the Carolinas who are ready to exit their business and retire or partner with select Private Equity Groups who assist owners in growing their business for a later sale and exit. Targeting business owners specifically in the industries of transportation and logistics, precision machining and niche manufacturing, Randolph will apply more than 30 years of experience in management and consulting to help educate business owners on the process of evaluating and marketing their business for sale as well as on their range of exit options in today's market.
Prior to joining the Hatteras Group, Randolph consulted and worked with major Fortune 500 companies, government agencies and small business owners throughout the Southeast. In addition, he served as the vice president of Prudential Bache Securities and established the Special Investments Department of Bear Stearns in Atlanta where he listed a business that was sold to a major NYSE company for $80 million. His clients included TVA, Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church USA and several New York Stock Exchange Corporations.
A native of North Carolina, Randolph earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Masters of Divinity from Duke University Divinity School. He currently resides in the Winston Salem area.
