HEIDELBERG, GERMANY, May 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) The research project allows JGC C&C to use hte's X4500 testing system in order to evaluate different extrudate-type hydrocracking catalysts in a stacked-bed configuration. The X4500 system is optimized for high throughput testing of hydroprocessing catalysts under demanding conditions, while processing highly viscous feeds. It allows small-scale testing in the range of 1-5 mL over extended periods of time whilst maintaining excellent data quality comparable to pilot plant data.
"hte's proven, industry leading high throughput technology allows us to test our catalysts in a very fast and reliable manner at reduced costs and much faster time-to-market as a consequence," said Dr. Jun Fuchikami, General Manager at the Catalysts Research Center of JGC C&C.
"We are pleased that JGC C&C has chosen to work with hte. We see this as a further acknowledgement of our technology and services contributing to JGC C&C's success. We look forward to further strengthening our partnership and our role in the Japanese market," says Wolfram Stichert, CEO at hte.
