LOS ANGELES, CA, May 29, 2013 (Press-News.org) Pardee Homes has earned 6 Awards of Merit for architectural design and planning excellence in the 2013 Gold Nugget Awards. The homebuilder's winners underscore its expertise with distinctively different housing types, and include the luxury estates of Alta Del Mar and the attainable attached designs of Sorrento Terrace, both in San Diego. Alta Del Mar is Pardee's big winner, with 5 Gold Nugget honors for site planning, architectural design of detached housing and landscape architecture. Alta Del Mar is also eligible for to-be-announced project of the year honors for detached residential homes. The luxury enclave is in San Diego's Carmel Valley with views to The Grand Del Mar.

Sorrento Terrace also took a Gold Nugget Award of Merit, for design and planning of multi-family homes with a density of under 18 units per acre.
