Event Planner Adina Verdult Offers Tips to Make Wedding Planning Easy
Adina Verdult shares her professional insight with brides looking to streamline the wedding planning process.
PHILADELPHIA, PA, May 30, 2013
Adina Verdult, noted event planner, has an extensive amount of experience in designing breathtaking weddings. While wedding planners are capable of handling a great deal of pressure when on the job, as stress comes with the territory, they are often exceptionally adept at minimizing stress to ensure that each event goes as smoothly as possible. Here, Verdult shares some tips that were recently published in an article by thewesterlysun.com, which shed light on ways in which couples can reduce their stress levels as they prepare for the big day. Verdult adds her own insight, providing couples with savvy financial information that can assist them in keeping their cool. The article suggests that couples do the following in order to limit the amount of stress that they experience: attempt to spend less than they have budgeted, invest in wedding insurance, save documentation of fees charged by vendors, and pay bills on time. Verdult asserts that these are solid recommendations that can greatly enhance the experience that couples have when planning their wedding if they stick to them. But she further emphasizes that the financial aspect of wedding planning is the area in which most individuals start to feel uncomfortable. To keep financial concerns from ruining the big day, Verdult has provided her own tips for keeping stress to a minimum.
"Know your budget and be realistic," Adina Verdult suggests. "Prioritize and focus on the things that matter most to you. Share with your wedding planner your entire vision and let them help you pick and choose the details. If you can't have the ocean-front wedding you have dreamed of due to financial limitations, maybe you can incorporate the water theme into your rehearsal dinner, instead. Above all, know what things will cost you before the last minute. Have all of your vendors give you a full, detailed proposal and don't make assumptions regarding their products or services. Assuming can lead to frustration, as you may not be able to afford something that you thought would cost much less. Have everything in writing and save your emails. Taste the food, listen to the music, do a hair and makeup trial, have a mock table designed, and have your planner provide you with a floorplan and a timeline for the event. Planners are not mind readers, but it is important that you are open and honest with them so that they can help to alleviate your stress and create the best wedding day possible!"
Verdult goes on to recommend that couples create a visual representation of their budget, such as printing out a graph of where they are going to allocate their funds, in order to better understand how they are spending their money. Additionally, she notes, tracking spending throughout the process is key in staying on target financially.
Adina Verdult congratulates all couples who have made the decision to tie the knot and encourages them to follow these recommendations when planning their nuptials.
