TAMPA, FL, June 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Tampa Award Program has named the cosmetic surgery practice of Dr. Joseph J. Castellano (http://www.castellanocosmeticsurgery.com) as their selection for the 2013 Best of Tampa Award in the category for cosmetic surgeons.
"We're very honored," says Dr. Castellano, a breast augmentation specialist located in Tampa-St. Petersburg who is himself a Tampa Bay native. "Building a strong community is so important, and we work hard to contribute in a positive way as much as possible."
The Tampa Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the Tampa area. Each year, the Award Program identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community, and help make the Tampa area a great place to live, work and play. Winners are determined based on data gathered internally by the Tampa Award Program and information provided by third parties.
The selection of Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center reflects the hard work of not only Dr. Castellano, but of the many people who have supported his business and contributed to the success of the practice. The Best of Tampa award recipients are recognized as an elite group of small businesses in the area.
Dr. Castellano's practice sees many local Tampa-St. Petersburg patients, as well as a number of visitors from nearby Orlando and throughout Florida. The practice offers a full range of surgical cosmetic procedures including liposuction and tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), as well as minimally invasive procedures from the Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center medical spa.
"Breast augmentation is the surgery I perform most often," says Dr. Castellano, whose fellowship training focused on cosmetic procedures for both face and body. "Many women and men also choose us for liposuction, tummy tucks, and facial cosmetic surgery. The practice is focused on providing procedures and treatments that benefit our patients the most, and I think that's one more reason why we were selected for this year's award."
Dr. Castellano attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate work, where he graduated with honors in 2000. During his years in medical school, he received clinical honors in surgery, and received the Watson Clinic Award for best research by a medical student. Dr. Castellano received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of South Florida in 2005.
In addition to his five years of training in general surgery, Dr. Castellano pursued an additional year of specialized training through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. This was followed by a fellowship that focused exclusively on cosmetic surgery procedures in the face and body, including facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation and body contouring. Dr. Castellano remains an active member with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery by assisting with research, and also holds memberships in the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center (http://www.castellanocosmeticsurgery.com) was founded in Tampa by Dr. Joseph J. Castellano, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Medical Association. Expungement is the process of having a person's criminal records sealed by the court. Contrary to popular belief, expungement does not typically involve the destruction of records, and in most cases the sealed records may still be accessible in the future for certain limited purposes. However, expungement makes a person's court records generally unavailable for things like housing applications and employment background checks, as well as credit history checks and other types of applications.
