PROFIT Magazine unveils 25th annual list of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies

2013-06-05
CONCORN, ON, June 05, 2013 (Press-News.org) PROFIT Magazine today ranked RONCO No. 403 on the 25th annual PROFIT 500, the definitive ranking of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies. Published in the Summer issue of PROFIT Magazine and online at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their revenue growth over five years.

RONCO, manufacturers of safety solutions for head, hand and body, made the PROFIT 500 list with five-year revenue growth of 104%.

"To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fastest-Growing Companies in Canada, the PROFIT 500 has expanded to recognize the entrepreneurial achievements of more than 500 Canadian companies," says Ian Portsmouth, Editor-in-Chief of PROFIT Magazine. "PROFIT is proud to now showcase Canada's forward-thinking small business entrepreneurs and honour their talents and innovations."

Founded in 1996, RONCO began manufacturing operations on one line of disposable gloves - the RONCO GOLD-TOUCH . Since then, the company has expanded the breadth of its portfolio to include a complete range of personal protective equipment (PPE) for use in the healthcare, food and industrial sectors. Through the years, RONCO has become a pioneer in new product development, setting the industry standard with innovations such as the RONCO Gown, RONCO Cova-Cap and its flagship Nitech examination gloves.

RONCO President, Ron Pecchioli, acknowledged the announcement, "RONCO is honoured to be ranked #403 on PROFIT Magazine's list of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies. I would like to thank our team of dedicated employees and our strong network of vendors and loyal distributors, who remain steadfast in our commitment to consistent quality products and on-time delivery."

"Together, we have built a strong foundation," Mr. Pecchioli continued, "and together, we are poised for even greater success in this growth market. Head, hand and body safety solutions are evolving to meet stricter regulations, new legislation and large-scale consumption. The products RONCO manufactures not only help to prevent workplace injury and illness, they also inhibit infection and contamination. Mitigating safety risks is exponential - RONCO impacts end-users, but we also impact the businesses and consumers they serve."

The RONCO brand is recognized by end-users in industries that have an intense demand for PPE. The Company is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified for the manufacture and distribution of non-sterile disposable examination gloves and sterile latex disposable examination gloves for the healthcare sector.

In December 2012, RONCO became the first glove and plastic bag manufacturer in North America to become ISO 22000 certified, which verifies their manufacturing, storage and delivery processes meet, or exceed, the global standards required for food safety.

Furthermore, RONCO is a leader in new product development in the industrial market, replacing many traditional gloves with innovative materials and styles that target specific sectors such as construction, fisheries, mining or oil and gas production.
