William Peace University Names Vera M. Goode As University Receptionist

Four-Year Baccalaureate University Welcomes Receptionist With More Than 35 Years Of Experience

RALEIGH, NC, June 08, 2013 (Press-News.org) William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that Vera M. Goode has been named university receptionist. In her position, Goode will be responsible for overseeing the administrative duties of the Welcome Center at William Peace University in an effort to ensure efficient communication channels between visitors and university departments and offices. Specifically, Goode will serve as the primary greeter for campus visitors both at the Welcome Center, which she will maintain, and through the main switchboard, where she will answer the university's main telephone line, manage the University chat and institutional email address, and coordinate campus visits for prospective students. Additional responsibilities will include communicating, answering and keeping record of common questions received by prospective students. With more than 35 years of human resource experience, much of her career has focused on providing support to educational systems, including her previous position within the Pitt County School System.
