ATLANTA, GA, June 09, 2013 (Press-News.org) Bike to Work Day is an annual event held in cities across the United States and Canada. The event encourages people to utilize bikes for transportation to work.
Most cities hold Bike to Work Day in May, which is National Bike Month. Colorado celebrates the event on the fourth Wednesday of June.
A variety of cycling-related events are organized in each participating city. Bike to Work Day is endorsed by many bicycle advocacy groups and by the American Medical Association. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, less than 1% of American workers use a bike as their main form of transportation to work.
Besides the health benefits, biking to work reduces one's carbon footprint, reduces noise pollution, decreases road wear and reduces the costs of parking. One of the potential problems with cycling to work is the potential for a leak or flat tire.
"A portable bike pump should be one of the top five bike accessories that they have in case of a slow leak or flat, " said Guy Pierce, owner of Geared2U.
Geared2U has released a portable, mini bike pump that is easy to transport. It even comes with a frame attachment, so it can attach directly to a bike. The Pump Me Up! is compatible with all types of bikes and the two most common valves: Presta and Schrader.
The mini hand pump has an air capacity of up to 100 PSI and a twist-lock handle design that prevents the pump from opening when it's not in use. A dust cap also protects the pump from dirt and debris. Designed for bikers by bikers, the pump comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Geared2U is an outdoor sporting goods company that currently specializes in mini bike pumps sold exclusively at Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Mini-Bike-Pump-Compatible-Lightweight/dp/B00C8VJDUM. The company plans to offer more products soon. Visit us at http://www.geared2u.com

2013-06-09
While great strides have been made in some parts of the country in recognizing the relationships of same sex couples, the fact is that not all regions throughout the country offer the same levels of protection. Because of this, legal documents that help protect your rights as a partner or spouse should be easily accessible when traveling out of state or you could end up in a situation such as not being allowed to have a hospital visitation.
