Free De-Stress for Success Teleseminar Online at The Brain Lady with Debra Burdick June 12

NEW YORK, NY, June 11, 2013 (Press-News.org) Debra Burdick, LCSWR, BCN, also known as "The Brain Lady", teaches how to recognize your stressors and how to de-stress in any situation to improve your well-being, Wednesday, June 12, 11 am ET on-line. The tele-training will cover the sources of stress, the signs of stress overload, and ways to overcome stress in your daily life for better physical and mental health. According to Burdick, "research suggests that using de-stress techniques can save your life."

Based on extensive stress management and mindfulness research, and her work with hundreds of clients, Burdick's trainings utilize experiential techniques. Burdick, a board-certified neurofeedback practitioner and licensed clinical social worker has provided outpatient psychotherapy and mindfulness skills to clients since 1990. She used mindfulness and stress-management techniques to help herself heal from a chronic illness, techniques so helpful that she started teaching her clients the skills she had learned.
