Clients can improve their moods, focus better, sleep well, and experience success in school, at work, and in relationships.

Burdick lectures throughout the year for CMI/PESI and other professional groups and organizations. She is a frequent speaker for teleseminars.

Burdick, a board-certified neurofeedback practitioner and licensed clinical social worker has provided outpatient psychotherapy and mindfulness skills to clients since 1990. She is unusually aware of challenges and successes related to ADHD as she parented a daughter with ADHD, and was married to a man with ADHD. She used mindfulness and stress-management techniques to help herself heal from a chronic illness, techniques so helpful that she started teaching her clients the skills she had learned.

Burdick is the author of several books and CD's about ADHD diagnosis, treatment options, and holistic/alternative approaches for children, adults, and parents. Her work has been featured in Self Improvement Magazine, and she is an online expert at SelfGrowth.com.

Mindfulness Skills Workbook: 111 Activities, Exercises, Techniques and Tools for Overcoming Life's Stressors, her new book to be released in 2013, includes the latest breakthroughs and tools that teach clients, patients, and students how to benefit from mindfulness in their daily lives. Burdick's Internet site is found at TheBrainLady.com; it offers mental health information, resources, and a free newsletter with useful tips from the latest brain research.
