Fishtrack announces its 2013 user-submitted big game fishing and boating photo contest, sponsored by Raymarine. Winners can obtain two state-of-the-art depth sounders that raise the level of sport fishing.

2013-06-12
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA, June 12, 2013 (Press-News.org) Premiere salt-water fishing website, Fishtrack, has announced their 2013 photo contest, sponsored by Raymarine. Anglers are encouraged to log on and submit their best big game fishing photos and boating photos to win state of the art GPS chart plotters, depth sounders and multi-function touchscreen marine electronics from Raymarine, which can raise the level of sport fishing.

When it comes to big game fishing, anglers know that FishTrack provides the best in resources and technology to make fishing trips successful, including big game fish reports, weather information, sea surface temperature charts and big game fishing videos with plenty of helpful how-tos. Those who take the sport of looking for big game fish seriously turn to FishTrack for the latest in technology and information.

However, anglers want to have fun, too, and FishTrack offers opportunities to share the pure enjoyment of fishing with other like-minded enthusiasts. Additionally, FishTrack offers sportsmen and women a chance to relive their best fishing moments with others by sharing their favorite big game fishing photos. This year, FishTrack is proud to take its photo section to an even higher level by hosting the 2013 Photo Challenge, sponsored by Raymarine.

Users can submit their photos through FishTrack's "User Photos" page or via Instagram by using the hashtag #Fishtrack. Every month, a winner will be chosen by veteran fisherman and professional sportfishing photographer Scott Kerrigan. Monthly winners will be awarded a brand-new Raymarine Dragonfly Sonar-GPS with CHIRP Downvision.

All monthly winners will then be entered into a final drawing at the end of the year for a Raymarine e127 Multifunction Display. All winning photographs will be featured on FishTrack's website for everyone to enjoy. FishTrack's user photos section even allows users to tag locations of photos on an ocean map if they choose.

Users can submit as many photos as they like, and these photos can be recent or those from former years' fishing trips. There are no "rules" about composition but the greater the focus on game fishing the more likely the photo is to be chosen as a winner. Users can get creative and find photos of themselves with rare or exciting catches, large group catches or other subjects. All photos must be the property of the user and cannot be copied from any websites or other sources.

FishTrack makes it possible for users to enjoy each other's catches and proudly display their own finest fishing moments as well as enter the contest for a chance to win great prizes from Raymarine.

About FishTrack: FishTrack is the Internet's most comprehensive salt-water sport fishing website. With up-to-the-minute game fish reports, SST charts, maps and downloads, FishTrack provides serious anglers with everything they need to plan their fishing trips and find catches successfully. FishTrack is also proud to sponsor user contests and interactive activities that allow those who love fishing to share that love with others who also enjoy the sport of catching big game fish.
