LOS ANGELES, CA, June 14, 2013 (Press-News.org) Book'd in Burbank enters its third go-around at Theatre Banshee on July 18, 2013, 8:00 P.M - 9:30 P.M. Sponsored and hosted by Liz D Publicity & Promotions, Book'd in Burbank is a bookish social gathering that treats book lovers to an evening of author readings and literary entertainment. Liz D attributes Book'd's success to the rotating panel of talented and charismatic authors, as well as to mainstay comedian Jordan Likover. "What makes Book'd in Burbank fun for me is the fast-paced mix of author readings in a variety of genres," says Peggy Keppel. A Book'd in Burbank fan, Keppel appreciates how the event offers one the unique opportunity "...to discover new books and mingle with authors and fellow book lovers."
The distinguished panel of Book'd authors is joined by The New York Times Best Selling romance author Cheryl Holt, romantic suspense author and 2013 Booksellers Best Award nominee Laura Sheehan, debut YA novelist Leila Howland, journalist and YA indie author Larry Buhl, Agatha Award-winning mystery author Daryl Wood Gerber, and actress-turned-mystery romance author Kathryn Leigh Scott.
Media and raffle sponsor Shelf Pleasure, a destination website for women who love to read, reprises its role as a major Book'd in Burbank supporter. Additional raffle sponsors include The Bookish Life, a studio that crafts literary gifts using recycled books and original art, Book Fiend, an online shop that designs and creates t-shirts and gifts for book lovers, and Literati Club, a "positive energy" boutique specializing in literature-inspired scarfs.
