Samuel Cordes Selected One of the Top 100 Lawyer in Pennsylvania for the 3rd Consecutive Year

Samuel Cordes, managing attorney of Samuel J. Cordes & Associates, has been recognized for his excellence in law practice in Pennsylvania's 2013 edition of Super Lawyers magazine for the tenth year in a row.

PITTSBURGH, PA, June 19, 2013 (Press-News.org) Samuel Cordes, managing attorney of Samuel J. Cordes & Associates, a boutique labor and employment law firm in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, has been recognized for his excellence in law practice in Pennsylvania's 2013 edition of Super Lawyers magazine for the tenth year in a row.

Super Lawyers magazine has named Cordes, as one of the top Employment Lawyers in Pennsylvania every year since 2004. This distinction is reserved for the top 5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania. He was also honored as one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Pennsylvania and one of the Top 50 Pittsburgh. He was one of only ten lawyers from Western Pennsylvania selected in the Top 100 for Pennsylvania and the only plaintiff's employment attorney in Western Pennsylvania to ever be named to the Top 100 in Pennsylvania.

Super Lawyers is a peer-reviewed magazine published by Thomson-Reuters and distributed throughout the country with editions regionally distinctive by state.

Attorney John Black, an associate at the firm, was also selected as one of the top 5% of lawyers in Pennsylvania by Super Lawyers magazine.

Attorney Christine Elzer, another associate at the firm, was named as a 'Rising Star' by the same publication. Rising Stars represent the top 2.5% of attorneys in Pennsylvania who are under the age of 40 or who have been practicing law for less than ten years.

Among other things, Cordes is a member of the Academy of Trial lawyers of Allegheny County, he has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Employment Law every year since 2003, and he has been awarded by AVVO with the highest possible rating: 10/10.

Best Lawyers named Cordes Pittsburgh's "Labor and Employment Lawyer of the Year" in 2012. He has been peer review rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell its highest ranking for ethical standards and legal ability.

Newsweek Magazine says Cordes has one of the best Employment Law practices in the country for 2013 and he was elected to the National College of Labor and Employment Lawyers in 2010.
