CAL Business Solutions Award Customers at Annual Microsoft Dynamics GP User Event Who Use ERP Software to Move Their Businesses Forward

HARWINTON, CT, November 04, 2010 (Press-News.org) Over 130 Connecticut Microsoft Dynamics GP users and partners gathered in Cromwell, Connecticut (CT) on Wednesday October 13th for New England's Largest Microsoft Dynamics GP user event. During the closing session CAL Business Solutions honored five companies for their outstanding achievements in 2010.

The event featured a keynote address from a local Microsoft executive plus sixteen breakout sessions dedicated to helping attendees use their accounting/ERP software systems to be more efficient and productive. Presented by CAL Business Solutions consultants and leaders and software partners the sessions covered a range of topics including: GP Tips and Tricks, SmartList Builder, Year End Closing Strategies, FRx vs Management Reporter plus much more.

The event also featured the presentation of the CAL Customer Awards, recognizing the distinguished achievements of five CAL Business Solutions customers. The CAL Connect2010 Award winners are:

1) Loyalty Award: Custom Bottle, Inc.
Custom Bottle in Naugatuck, Connecticut received the Loyalty Award in recognition of their ongoing support of CAL Business Solutions. George Mackiewicz, president of CAL Business Solutions comments, "Custom Bottle is a great evangelist and is happy to tell others about the benefits the new Dynamics GP with SalesPad system has brought to their distribution business. 2) Innovation Award: Women's Health Connecticut
Women's Health, an Avon, Connecticut based healthcare company, was given the Innovation Award. This award recognizes the client who innovative use of technology within their business management system delivers measurable results to the organization. The winner is chosen for creativity, vision and the overall results and benefits to the organization.

3) Teamwork Award: Apple Health Care, Inc.
Apple Health Care, another healthcare company based in Avon, Connecticut, was chosen for the Teamwork Award. This award recognizes the client who shares their organizations vision and overall future direction planning efforts with CAL and enables us to proactively plan future projects both for timing and applicability to goals. This company embraces both the technology and consulting services provided by CAL and enables us to truly become a part of their extended family. 4) President's Award: PrideStaff
PrideStaff, a California based staffing company, was chosen for the President's Award. This award is presented for overall excellence in all areas. Pridestaff uses StaffLinx GP, a tool developed by CAL Business Solutions, to integrate Microsoft Dynamics GP with Bullhorn. Christine Huebert traveled the furthest of any customer to attend the CAL Connect2010 event and receive this award.
