XpressO TCXOs with Tighter Stabilities to ±1 ppm Now Available from Fox

Fast delivery in any custom frequency expedites time to market

2013-06-22
FORT MYERS, FL, June 22, 2013 (Press-News.org) Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions and an IDT company, now offers its XpressO TCXO with tighter stabilities in custom frequencies up to 250 MHz. Available with ±1.5 ppm from -40°C to +85°C as well as down to ±1 ppm from 0°C to +70°C, the new XpressO-TC HCMOS TCXO oscillators can be delivered in ten working days or less.

The new TCXOs are an expansion to Fox's FXTC-HE73 series that meets the humidity, shock and vibration requirements of MIL-STD-202. They are ideal for applications requiring very tight stability over temperature and low jitter, including medical monitoring and measurement, telecommunications and networking as well as military communications.

Surpassing the typical 50 MHz to 60 MHz frequency range of traditional TCXOs, the new XpressO-TC oscillators offer a significant performance advantage, since custom frequencies can be specified up to 250 MHz.

Fox's proprietary ASIC technology, with a 3rd order Delta Sigma Modulator (DSM), enables XpressO oscillators to significantly reduce noise to levels comparable with traditional bulk quartz and SAW oscillators. This ASIC family enables the selection of output type, input voltages and temperature performance within the oscillator.

E.L. Fox, Jr., president of Fox Electronics, noted, "With over 30 million units shipped, our XpressO oscillators continue to provide our customers with the benefits they need to meet the price and performance demands of their industries. These enhanced versions of the TCXOs, with stabilities as tight as ±1 ppm over custom frequencies to 250 MHz, offer more design options for electronic device manufacturers."

Samples are available within one to two days with production quantities in ten working days. The new XpressO-TC includes Fox's serial identification system that ensures exceptional quality control and unique traceability of each part throughout the entire manufacturing process.
