StarQuery's new version offers a web based repository and central control system that facilitates report sharing and gives IT control over database views and who accesses what, when and how often.

2013-06-24
LOS ANGELES, CA, June 24, 2013 (Press-News.org) Symtrax, a world leader in multiplatform reporting solutions, today announced a significant version release of their business intelligence solution: StarQuery 4.2. StarQuery's new version offers a web based repository and central control system that facilitates report sharing and gives IT control over database views and who accesses what, when and how often.

StarQuery Suite allows businesses and end users to query multiple databases simultaneously, and in real-time. It is a powerful and intuitive system that allows end-users of all abilities to create their own on demand queries. It harnesses the power of Excel and extends it. End users can drill down and analyze data.

The new version "allows users to share reports with others, find out what reports are most popular and learn best practices from other's reports. All the while IT can control who sees what and they too can create reports and dashboards and offer them as examples to end-users" said Bernard, Symtrax CEO.
StarQuery 4.2 offers administrators new functions, including: the ability to assign users to specific user groups and assign reports relevant to user's position in the business.Administrators can manage user access levels through and active directory and centralize all reports, queries and mapping. They also have the ability to organize and move files with no impact to users.

StarQuery 4.2 is now available and a 10 Day Free Trial with support included can be downloaded here: http://www.symtrax.com/Pages/en-us/Download-StarQuery-Suite-Ad-Hoc-Querying-Real-Time-Empower-End-Users-Customized-Reports-Excel.aspx
