WASHINGTON, DC, June 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) WUSA 9 will be delivering exclusive and groundbreaking live coverage of all the action at the AT&T National Golf Tournament beginning Monday June 24. The tournament will be played again this year at the fabled, historic Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland and will include 132 of the world's top golfers. One of the biggest names in golf today, 2013 Master's Champion Adam Scott is among the outstanding field of professional golfers scheduled to play the tournament. And WUSA 9 will be bring the best of the best to viewers, app users, fans and spectators all week long.

WUSA 9's television coverage will include live afternoon broadcasts all week long beginning at 5pm and also special late night wrap-up shows Wednesday through Friday from 11:32 to 11:50 pm. And on Sunday June 30th, coverage will conclude with an exclusive wrap-up show; "Game On: Overtime" at 11:35pm which will focus on special AT&T National Highlights from the entire tournament. WUSA 9's coverage also includes a vibrant digital component with exclusive streamed content delivered on the WUSA 9 news app and live twitter coverage all week long.

WUSA 9's Morning News Anchor Mike Hydeck, and WUSA 9 Sports Reporter/ Anchor, Kristen Berset will report live each day of the tournament. The Washington Post Golf expert and sports reporter Barry Svrluga will be on hand to offer his golf game insights throughout the tournament.

The tournament, sponsored by the Tiger Woods Foundation, is in its seventh year of play and is expected to draw a crowd of over 150,000 fans and spectators. The golfers will compete for a $6.5 million purse.
