FREMONT, CA, June 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) Accell, a provider of premium audio video, computer and mobile device accessories, today announced the availability of the company's newest HDMI adapter, the UltraAV DisplayPort 1.1 to HDMI 1.4 active adapter. Also available in Mini DisplayPort, this active adapter has an MSRP of $32.99 and is available now.

Accell's UltraAV DisplayPort 1.1 to HDMI 1.4 active adapter enables a DisplayPort supported computer to connect to an HDMI supported display. The Accell UltraAV DisplayPort to HDMI Active adapter is AMD Eyefinity certified, providing an optimal experience when using AMD Eyefinity Technology and allowing a three monitor configuration.

"Accell's new UltraAV DisplayPort 1.1-to-HDMI Active Adapters are the newest addition to the AMD ecosystem of recommended DisplayPort adaptors," stated Stan Ossias, director of graphics technical marketing, Graphics Business Unit, AMD. • Supports up to Ultra HD 4K and 1080p at 120Hz
• Up to a 300 MHz clock rate for stereoscopic 3D support
• Compliant to DisplayPort v1.1 and HDMI 1.4b
• Plug-and-play, requiring no software installation or external power
• Available in Mini DisplayPort 1.1 to HDMI
