Shibley Rahman's company in postgraduate medicine and law education is described in his website. This company is called Law and Medicine Limited, and has a website http://www.lawandmedicine.org.uk He is the Company Director of this, and is about to commence a two-year full time MBA in London. He is particularly interested in how small- and medium-sized enterprises can best be encouraged in the Big Society. He is an Associate of the Institute of Directors and a Fellow of the Royal Society in the Encouragement of the Arts, Commerce and Entrepreneurship. A passion of Shibley is his recovery from alcoholism. Shibley Rahman is very much motivated by his research in dementia, being an expert in the behavioural variant of frontotemporal dementia (http://brain.oxfordjournals.org/content/122/8/1469.abstract) . His seminal paper is located on the Brain website . He will post research news from the world of dementia, as well as reviews of anything relevant in the media relating to dementia including books and films. On a positive note, Shibley Rahman is a member of the European Medical Writers Association, and also an active member of the Society of Biology in London.
Most of all, he is inspired by the arts, especially art and theatre. He recently viewed the Gauguin at the Tate Modern, and the Picasso at the Gagosian in NW1.
