The Sleeping Giant Awakens With A New Idea: Simply Gigantic

DJs turned entrepreneurs with humble beginnings launch a new company that helps independent artists and DJs better their careers.

2010-11-05
SAN DIEGO, CA November 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) If you told Sleeping Giant Music founders: Freddie Harb, Collin Taylor, and Victor Acosta 6 years ago that they would be where they are today, they wouldn't have believed you. It started when a group of friends with a shared passion for music decided to band together as a unified front and separated themselves from the rest by becoming Sleeping Giant Music. Fast forward to 2010, this collective is now a highly respected professional entity within its industry, representing 16 of San Diego's most sought after DJs and artists. The founders of Sleeping Giant Music are now releasing the machine behind the success of the artists they represent - not to mention what many artists have been aspiring to be part of - to the masses in the form of a new company: Simply Gigantic.

Who are the founders, you may ask? No, they're not highly educated business gurus with impressive degrees or even wealthy investors with other ventures under their wings. Six years ago, they were just a bunch of kid DJs and artists with an idea. And now after gaining business knowledge and experience through trial and error, they have another idea turned into reality.

Let's face it; it's a fast paced digital world with ever shrinking attention spans and constantly changing tastes. So, put yourself in the shoes of today's independent artist trying to get their name out to the masses. You might be thinking, "Where do I start?" With all the Tweeting, Liking, posting, Pinging, and Foursquaring, it can be intimidating trying to keep up. That's where Simply Gigantic comes in. Simply Gigantic provides marketing services, tips, tools, and tricks to help independent artists and DJs stay competitive in today's digital market.

Freddie Harb, one of the founders of Sleeping Giant Music said "The idea from Simply Gigantic came about because we want to offer the world the services that made us [and Sleeping Giant Music] so successful. So we carbon copied it and packaged it up under a new brand."

Simply Gigantic is not just another Sleeping Giant Music. It's a support system and marketing team for artists that take care of the business side while artists focus on their music and perfect their craft.

"In today's market independent artists need to be everywhere at all times," Freddie Harb said. "Unfortunately the biggest roadblock is time and that's why we are here to help."

With their Beta round behind them, their services are ready for the public. It's easy to get started with affordable packages starting at $24 a month. They are currently working on videos with useful DJ tips from established DJs, which will be featuring on their Blog weekly, along with posts about new social media, marketing tips and more.

About Simply Gigantic

They understand what it takes to stay competitive in this market and provide services and tools that allow you to stay active in the digital age. Through their services, they help you create and maintain brand awareness. Their mission is to provide independent artists the foundation to focus on their craft.
