Naples Triathlon Coaching Company Geared Up Runs 5K to Raise 5K for Breast Health Centers

Athletic coach and certified trainer, Angie Ferguson and the Naples Triathlon Coaching Company, Geared Up, will co-sponsor and run in a 5K to raise $5,000 for Breast Health Centers in Lee County.

NAPLES, FL, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) Triathlon coach and certified trainer, Angie Ferguson and the Naples Triathlon Coaching Company, Geared Up, will not only run, but co-sponsor a five-kilometer race to raise $5,000 for The Breast Health Centers of Lee County.

The 5k race will start at 7:30 AM at the Lexington Country Club in Fort Myers on Saturday, October 9, 2010. This is the second year Geared Up will be involved with the race. Last year, the race raised $2,500. The goal this year is to raise twice that amount.

Says Ferguson, Owner and Founder of Naples Triathlon Coaching Team, Geared Up!, "This 5k race is important for us because we want to help raise awareness about how the Breast Health Centers of Lee County are helping women in our community. And we want to raise money to help them keep going. I'm sure most of us know at least one person who's suffered from breast cancer, so anything we can do to fight breast cancer should be done."
