SYOSSET, NY, November 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) According to a CBS News poll, fifty-seven percent of all Americans believe in psychic abilities such as ESP, telepathy and unexplainable supernatural events.
But this comes as no surprise to Joy Iemmiti, author of the new book "Blessed With a Joyful Gift: Psychic Moments for You and Me" (along with co-author Natalie Krous). She's been experiencing such incredible phenomena all her life. As a child, she simply knew which friend had stolen her doll. She has foreseen jackpot winnings and traffic delays dueto accidents and even a potential plane crash. But most importantly, she has received messages about the people around her-not only about what has been, but about what will be for them.
"As a tarot card reader and clairvoyant, I give my clients glimpses into their own lives, to show them what they desire and what might help them find it," says Ms. Iemmiti. "Then, I tell them not to be afraid, and to take the initiative to go after what they want. Life is a precious gift, and none of us should waste it."
In "Blessed With a Joyful Gift," Ms. Iemmiti shares with readers the many wondrous experiences she's had thanks to her anonymous source-an unnamed informant from an unknown place that passes on sensory messages to her regarding events in her own life and the lives of others.
In the book, she reveals the details of the predictions she's made and the lives she's influenced, including:
* A new mother whose baby, unbeknownst to her, had been switched with another newborn at the hospital.
* A beautiful model who felt trapped by her abusive, alcoholic husband.
* A man who had suffered a brain aneurysm-and was about to have another one in the near future.
* A woman whose teenage daughter would not talk about the bullying she suffered at school-until Ms. Iemmiti revealed it.
