CLEVELAND, OH, November 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) Professionals within the engineering, aerospace, quality, medical device and financial industries are invited to attend Silico Corporation's complimentary fourth quarter webinar series going on now through December.

This series will offer a diverse selection of presentations for multiple industries, with topics ranging from document management, six sigma methodologies, small business expansion, project management, and more.

Industry specific topics include the engineering change management process, software validation, and the upcoming audit of AS9100C affecting aerospace suppliers.

Two internationally recognized subject matter experts will also appear as guest presenters.

John Casey, established author and quality professional, will deliver a presentation on Strategic Error Proofing and how to achieve success with smarter FMEAs on November 9th. Casey is COO of PRISM performance improvement company, and has over 35 years of manufacturing experience in automotives where he has been the Director of Supplier Quality for GM North America and Program Manager for Toyota.

Debra Shumar, President and Founder of 3P Partners, a DL Shumar & Associates Company, will be guest presenting on how organizations can create a leading compliant driven company by proactively using Six by Six thinking methodology on December 7th. Shumar is a certified auditor, certified lean instructor and trained in the discipline of Six Sigma. Shumar recently served as Vice President of Global Product Quality for Whirlpool Corporation and a senior leader.

John Cachat, President and CEO of Silico, will lead the remaining webinar presentations. Cachat is an expert in developing information technology and operational excellence strategies for companies like IBM consulting, government agencies like the FDA, and professional and trade organizations. Cachat received a BSIE degree at the General Motors Institute (GMI) and an MSIE degree from Texas A & M University specializing in Operations Research and Automated Manufacturing.
