Shane Bull of Grubb & Ellis|Thomas Linderman Graham Brokers Lease for Dental Center at Brier Creek

Raleigh real estate advisor helps dentist negotiate deal in popular Alexander Place Promenade

2010-11-07
RALEIGH, NC, November 07, 2010 (Press-News.org) Grubb & Ellis|Thomas Linderman Graham, a leading Triangle real estate services firm, announced today that Shane Bull, real estate advisor, recently brokered a 3,077-square-foot space for Dental Center at Brier Creek at Alexander Place Promenade. Bull represented Christopher Clark, DDS, owner of Dental Center at Brier Creek, and Cary Beale of Developers Diversified Realty represented the landlord.

Alexander Place Promenade is located at I-540 and US 70 in Raleigh. The shopping center is conveniently located one mile from Raleigh-Durham International Airport and is 2.5 miles from Research Triangle Park. It is part of a 300-acre master-planned, mixed-use development with Wal-Mart Supercenter, Kohl's and PETCO as anchors. With a traffic count of 70,000 cars per day, the location is highly visible and attractive to businesses.

"It is somewhat unique for a dentist to go in a retail space, but the location made sense and was a good business strategy," explains Bull. "Dr. Clark actually found this space for his practice but wanted assistance with brokering the transaction. I was able to negotiate highly competitive lease terms for him. It's satisfying to not only help clients get into the space they desire, but to do it in a way that exceeds their expectations."

Dr. Clark began his career as a dentist in 1990. Before moving to North Carolina in 2004, he previously owned dental practices in New York City and New Jersey. Since his move, he has opened dental practices in retail shopping centers located in Raleigh, Leland, Clinton, Zebulon and Bladenboro. Dr. Clark and Bull had partnered previously to open another Raleigh location on Capital Boulevard.

"Shane's professionalism was second to none," says Dr. Clark. "He was very prompt with every request that I had and very informative in terms of the needs of my particular business. I also discovered what a brilliant negotiator he was in getting me the absolute best deal. Shane knows his territory well, knows where a particular type of business would work best, and understands the needs of the consumers."

Dr. Clark says that with Shane's help, he is able to better position his practice to serve patients of all income levels due to his location. Dental Center at Brier Creek opened its doors on August 1 and is located at 7841 Alexander Place Promenade #100 in Raleigh. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (919) 354-5400.

Macro Sensors Spring-Loaded LVDT Position Sensors Ensure Accurate Floor Landing of Elevator Cars

2010-11-07
As passengers travel on elevators at speeds upwards of 2,000 feet/minute, electromechanical control systems rely on sensors to provide the necessary feedback for proper alignment of elevator cars at building floors upon arrival. To ensure a smooth and comfortable ride, elevator cars are suspended by springs within an outer frame that provide cushioning against the effects of acceleration/deceleration and the initial starting and stopping 'jerks' caused by inertia. As an elevator is loaded with passengers, these springs compress changing car position within the frame ...
