Leading customised clothing supplier Shirtworks completes record promotional T-shirt printing order for DVD box set release

"It was an immense order with a very tight deadline, perfect for getting the adrenalin pumping!" said Arron Harnden, MD of Shirtworks. "Printing 40,000 eight colour t-shirts in only ten days has set a new record for the company, and I'm delighted with the way that we handled it. What made it even more challenging was the fact that one of our major garment suppliers had run out of large black t-shirts, so we had to source a new base t-shirt for the printing run. We used a new t-shirt on the market called the Nano which is produced by Hanes, and so that all worked out well in the end."

"The order was also extraordinary in the way that each printed t-shirt needed to be packaged after printing," Arron continued. "In order to incorporate the t-shirt giveaway in the DVD box set, each t-shirt had to be shrink-wrapped to the size of a DVD case, adding another layer of production to the order." When asked which series the promotional t-shirt was produced for, Arron replied, "Sadly I can't reveal that as the company involved cannot name suppliers, but suffice to say it's one of the most popular American animated series out there, and I am sure I will see many of these t-shirts out and about after Christmas!"
