Luxury Lingerie Store, Journelle, Opens New Location in NY's Soho
2010-11-12
NEW YORK, NY, November 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) On November 12, Journelle, a premier lingerie store, will open its second New York City location in the heart of Soho's shopping district. Located at 125 Mercer St., the 1,800 square foot store will reflect decor elements similar to its first two locations. Designed by Mario Ciuffarin, the space is draped in dark wood, tawny suede, pops of bright white and accented with the signature Journelle deep purple. The SoHo location will also feature custom-made millwork, spacious dressing rooms, as well as a video projection installation featuring Journelle 'art house' films.

Journelle founder Claire Chambers chose to open her third designer lingerie store in SoHo with the intent to be closer to the Journelle customer, a downtown everyday woman. The new location will feature a variety of elegant lingerie, bridal lingerie and over 50 brands including Elle Macpherson Intimates and Chantelle. The newest Manhattan location will focus on presenting the Soho clientele with a larger selection of lingerie products from emerging designers and edgier brands such as The Lake and Stars, Bordelle and Damaris.

Journelle's concept for the ultimate customer experience is concentrated on understated luxury. The spacious and flattering changing rooms are a clear indicator of the level of comfort provided in the Journelle experience. Every customer is guided through luxury lingerie fit and style options, ensuring that everyone who enters a Journelle store will leave with modern and tasteful products that fit well.

Claire Chambers has plans to more then double the number of locations, including the opening four more Journelle stores in 2011. Locations will be announced closer to opening dates.

Journelle is a premier lingerie store with locations in Manhattan and Miami Florida. Known for its high quality lingerie and impeccable presentation, Journelle has been presenting a tastefully-curated (rather than exhaustive) selection of lingerie, and focuses on providing customers with compassionate, expert assistance since 2007.

Many predicted the market would level out, however, and the stability ...
