IRVINE, CA, November 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) All Pro Science, Inc. (APS) has announced that it has added Connor Barwin of the NFL's Houston Texans and the University of Cincinnati to its elite team of athlete endorsers known as TEAM APS. TEAM APS includes top athletes such as NFL greats Warren Moon, Will Shields, Devin McCourty, Eben Britton, and Jason McCourty. MLB All Star Troy Tulowitzki and LA's top yoga instructor Alanna Zabel are also among TEAM APS's notable athletes as well. APS athletes are not paid, but instead often approach the company to be a part of its unique and wholesome message.
Barwin enjoyed a stellar career at Cincinnati, with 2008 being his breakout year. He finished the season with 53 tackles, and a Big East and team-leading 12 sacks. He also had 20 quarterback pressures, eight pass deflections, three fumble recoveries, and three blocked kicks. His play helped him earn First-team All-Big East honors honorable mention All-America as well as the Claude Rost Award, which is given to the team's Most Valuable Player. Barwin finished his college career with 16 starts in 51 games (14 at defensive end, one at tight end, one at H-Back) recording 66 tackles, 12 sacks, three fumble recoveries, eight deflected passes, five blocked kicks, and 53 receptions for 692 yards and six touchdowns.
Barwin was drafted by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft. On October 18, 2009 Barwin recorded his first NFL sack against the Cincinnati Bengals' Carson Palmer. APS is excited to be an integral part of Connor's diet and nutrition plan that hopefully will lead to more sacks and more tackles for the Houston lineman.
"Connor's great, we're happy to have him." Says All Pro Science President and Co-Founder, Tony Gonzalez. "TEAM APS guys are about staying true to our all-natural and healthy supplementation message, and Connor fits that mold perfectly. Connor's an up and comer for sure, and that's what APS is about, finding the best and having them push the best for people's bodies, nothing fake or unnatural. He's going to be a real asset for the team and the whole company."
