2010-11-12
NEW YORK, NY, November 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) NYC Personal Trainer, Diane Williams designs a personal training workout in NYC especially for women who wear dress sizes in the double digits; size 10 and up. The personal training workout is called Curvy Goddess Workout.

The intention is to address the unique issues and desires of women with fuller figures. Curvy Goddess Workout one-on-one personal training integrates several exercise modalities; ie pilates, resistance, core, and cardio training to add variety, fun, and effectiveness.

She shares, "I wanted to create and design a workout especially for Curvy Women because being in the fitness industry for 11 years I observed a lack of understanding and empathy behind the products and services that were created for the women with fuller/curvy figures."

The Curvy Woman has been misunderstood, undervalued, and under served. Curvy Goddess Workout is for that woman, helping her focus on moving her body and making it stronger as opposed to taking the body to extremes that usually will lead to injuries and diet deprivation; both ingredients for an excellent formula of failure.

Diane says, "I want women to think about long-term fitness habits that will lead them on a path to a new fit lifestyle. The weight loss will be the by-product from these healthy habits.

Before being in the fitness industry and before being a certifed NYC personal trainer, Diane Williams was someone who was not at all interested in exercise. "I had not a clue to the benefits I could receive from exercise and following a healthy lifestyle", she says.

She was an obese child and young adult reaching to 250 lbs. She decided to give resistance training a try by hiring a NYC personal trainer at her local gym while she was a plus size fashion model for the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in New York.

"The transformaton was spectacular. I'm coming from a place where I totally get the full-figured/curvy woman. I know what she wants and needs because I was her!

Diane has been a NYC personal trainer for over a decade. She is certified by the nationally recognized National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is kickboxing certified by the International Sports Conditioning Association. She is a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant certified by the American Council of Exercise. Her clients vary in physical fitness levels, challenges, and age-clients with knee, shoulder, back injuries, weight issues, and osteoporosis among other physical challenges.
