ineedhits Takes on City to Surf Race to Support Telethon Speech & Hearing

Leading search engine marketing firm, ineedhits takes on the Perth City to Surf challenge to raise money for Telethon Speech & Hearing.

2010-08-27
CLAREMONT, AUSTRALIA, August 27, 2010 (Press-News.org) The 2010 Perth Activ City to Surf race will attract more than 40,000 participants including a new team from global search engine marketing company ineedhits.

In its 36th year, the Perth City to Surf has grown from an event featuring 500 runners to now include over 40,000 participants in 2010. This year, the focus is very much on charity, with the aim to raise impressive donations for a variety of WA causes.

ineedhits CEO Warren Duff said that getting a team together for the City to Surf was a great opportunity to promote a healthy lifestyle amongst his employees. "We work in an environment where we sit in front of a computer for most of the day, so the City to Surf event was a great chance for the ineedhits team to get out of our chairs and get together for an active, yet fun day."

Through the generous support of customers, fellow employees, international partners and the local community, the team is well on the way to reaching their fundraising target for their chosen charity, the Telethon Speech & Hearing Centre.

"When we learnt that Telethon Speech & Hearing was one of the charities that we could choose to sponsor, we jumped at the chance." explains Mr Duff. "It is an organisation that is very close to the hearts of a number of our employees and their children, so we couldn't think of a more appropriate charity to support."

Runners from all over Perth will take part in the 2010 City to Surf on 29th August 2010.
