PHILADELPHIA, PA, February 20, 2014 (Press-News.org) Bill DeHaven of Sellersville, PA has joined Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) as New Business Development Sales Manager. In this position, Bill will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and growing LTI's customer base. A wide-range of accredited materials testing, nondestructive testing and calibration services are performed by the thirty-year-old testing laboratory. LTI provides services to customers throughout the USA and in many other countries from a wide-range of industries including aerospace, military, power and medical.
The New Business Development Sales Manager position was recently added by Laboratory Testing Inc. to improve responsiveness to inquiries from prospective customers, while also freeing up the Customer Service and Inside Sales Representatives to focus on servicing LTI's current customer base. Previously, sales and service to new and existing customers were handled by the same group of employees. "We always strive for excellence in service and building a stronger support team will allow us to go on meeting our customers' needs as LTI continues to grow," said Mike Hiller, Director of Marketing/New Business Development and third-generation member of the family-run business.
Bill was employed for the last seventeen years by ArcelorMittal in Sales positions responsible for carbon and alloy steel plate and flat rolled products. He most recently headed the Sales & Marketing team which handled account service, outside sales, product development and pricing. His national customer base was comprised of small businesses and major companies in the ship building, power generation, bridge and military industries. Bill received an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Bloomsburg University, and went on to receive an MBA in Management from West Virginia University.
