Bijelic recently joined the firm as an associate practicing in the areas of employment litigation and counseling, and business litigation and transactions. Bijelic comes to the full-service law firm, which serves businesses and individuals throughout California, with skills as a legal writer, researcher and client advocate. She also holds a graduate certificate in entertainment law.
"We were impressed with Anna's eye for detail and deep understanding of the legal process when she worked on civil litigation cases and business transactions during her clerkship," said Michael Velthoen, managing partner. Bijelic graduated with University Honors from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and religion. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013.
While attending the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, Bijelic served as vice president of the Entertainment Law Society and treasurer of the Jewish Law Students Association. She also held a staff position on the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice.
As an intern with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office in the Major Crimes Division, she assisted in trial preparation and drafted motions for high-profile criminal cases. Bijelic also worked in business and legal affairs for original programming at Starz Entertainment.
