About Akron Skin Center: Dr. James Libecco graduated from the Kent State University Honors Program with his degree in Integrated Life Sciences. After graduation, Dr. Libecco went on to complete four years at the Northeastern Ohio Medical University and graduated in the top 5% of his class. Dr. Libecco then when on to the Cleveland Clinic for an internship in Internal Medicine, which was followed by a Dermatology Residency at the Cleveland Clinic where he was also selected Chief Resident. After completing his residency, Dr. James Libecco joined the staff of the Cleveland Clinic where he was the Director of the Psoriasis, Phototherapy and Cutaneous Care Center, in addition to the Director of the Clinical Research Center.
