Shyam Mehta Honored for His Accomplishments in Multiple Fields
2014-02-27
LONDON, UK, February 27, 2014 (Press-News.org) Shyam Mehta, Chief Executive Officer of The Loving Heart Centre, has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his profession.

Mr. Mehta founded The Loving Heart Centre, a charity that promotes love and happiness throughout the world, 12 years ago. Previously, he had a succession of highly successful careers as investment banker, investment analyst, and consultant to the insurance and pensions industries. He has, with the help of some like-minded friends, transformed the way that insurance companies and pension funds across Europe and the Far East evaluate their finances and risks.

At The Loving Heart Centre, his work is to do with promoting love and happiness across the world. As a skilled investment professional, he helps people with their investment decisions and is just starting a hedge fund business using his near 50 years' experience in the investment markets. He has been practicing yoga since 1956 and teaching it since 1973. With these skills he helps all who write in with their health issues: physical, emotional, sexual, love, mental and spiritual. He has written hundreds of articles and over 50 books on these and other subjects such as the history of the world, philosophy, religion, why modern physics is in such a mess and how to fix it, and how the subject of psychology should be revamped. He has had a variety of religious experiences in his life and worships God almost every moment of his waking hours. He performed Ishvara Pranidhana (surrender to God) in 2002, and married Him in 2004. He attributes all his success to God.

One of his most recent books, "Yoga Philosophy and Practice," is available for purchase from most booksellers across the world. It discusses how to advance along life's path, describes Bhakti, Hatha, Jnana (Raja), Karma, and Kundalini yogas and considers the key goals of life: service, knowledge, love and liberation.

His latest book is "How to Bring up a Child," and is one of a series that seek to revolutionize the teaching and bringing up of children ("How to Teach Your Child English," "How to Teach Your Child Maths" and "How to Teach Your Child General Knowledge").

In his writings on Christianity, he highlights what he interprets as flaws in the Bible and argues that Christianity is not a religion. Mr. Mehta further states that all the evils of the world start from Christianity. In Hinduism, he argues that the famous Bhagavad Gita is not a work of God, even though its overall content is correct. He critiques the texts of India in his book "The Eight Sacred Texts of India." He is also co-author, with his mother and sister, of the international best-selling book "Yoga: The Iyengar Way," published by Dorling Kindersley in 1991 (500,000 copies were sold). He is in the process of revolutionizing understanding of Yoga with his sequel book, "Yoga: The Iyengar Way, Part II."

His article and spreadsheet "How to maximise your profit when selling
goods and services" shows any company or individual how to exactly set the price of their goods and services so as to maximise profitability.

Mr. Mehta is well-known for his many speeches, articles and presentations on modern finance, having lectured for example at the Stern Business School of New York University and at Moscow State, City and Heriot-Watt Universities.

In recognition of his numerous accomplishments in multiple fields, Mr. Mehta was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding.

On a personal note, Mr. Mehta was born in Enfield, Middlesex, England, on December 7, 1952. His mother was from Czechoslovakia and his father from Gujerat in India. His education and financial career was all in England, except for six years between 1954 and 1960, in Bombay. He is married to Indira, and the couple live in London.
