VANCOUVER, BC, February 27, 2014 (Press-News.org) Tamlin Homes was presented a Georgie Award for "Best 2013 Custom Home valued between $750,000 - $1,500,000" in a Gala Event held at the Vancouver Convention Center on February 1, 2014. The nomination, finalist announcement and subsequent award was for the "Gambier". Co-owner, Chris Lynn designed the home and worked on site throughout the 8 month remote access project. The judging panel comprises of industry professionals from outside of B.C. who are selected based on their specific area of expertise. Potential judges are selected by their respective Home Builder Associations in Canada and the United States. Within hours of winning the Georgie Award, Tamlin then learned they had also won a "Best of Houzz 2014" award. This award was presented on January 30, 2014 by Houzz.
Georgie Awards is the annual award given by The Canadian Home Builders' Association of British Columbia's (CHBA BC). A group of industry professionals established the Georgie Awards in 1992. It was established not for economic benefit but to provide value to the residential construction industry and communities through British Columbia.
"Best of Houzz 2014" is a client Satisfaction award. This award is given when a professional is rated at the highest level for client satisfaction by the Houzz community, a popular website for sharing home building ideas.
