COLUMBUS, OH, March 01, 2014 (Press-News.org) The Spot Athletics - one of Ohio's premier training facilities - is excited to announce a number of new equipment acquisitions. The Spot Athletics prides itself on having the best trainers and the best selection of equipment to suit every client's needs. Among the new acquisitions are several specialty bars not found at any other facility, including Specialized children's bars, an EliteFTS Safety Squat Yoke bar and an EliteFTS Mastodon bar. The have also added MuscleDriver slam balls, various weights of Dynamax balls, and a variety of new Kettlebells of various sizes.
The new safety squat bar is not only great for squats, lunges, good mornings, and a variety of other strength exercises but is also a great straight bar alternative for those with shoulder problems. The Mastodon bar is a long bar built for massive squats and is great for our clients as well as our staff who are setting PRs left and right. At The Spot Athletics, we love using slam balls and Dynamax balls for dynamic exercises that increase an athlete's speed and power and a variety of conditioning exercises. Our ever growing client base meant the addition of more of these great tools. We use kettlebells for a plethora of strengthening and conditioning exercises with everyone from personal training clients to athletes to our popular Metabolic Conditioning classes. Accordingly we have added new weight increments to satisfy the demands of our diverse client base.

It is owned by world renowned strength coach JL Holdsworth who is a former University of Kentucky strength coach and former powerlifting world record holder.
