VENTURA, CA, March 01, 2014 (Press-News.org) Five partners with Ferguson Case Orr Paterson LLP have been recognized as Super Lawyers for 2014. The distinguished Super Lawyers list includes fewer than five percent of the lawyers in the Southern California Region.
Michael Case, Theodore England, Gregory Herring and David Shain were honored with the Super Lawyers recognition, and some have had multiple years of recognition.
Wendy Lascher received the added accolade of being named one of the "Top 50 Women" Super Lawyers in Southern California.¬ She is the only Ventura County-based attorney to appear on this even more selective list.
Michael Case is co-founder of the firm and has more than 30 years of real estate, business and litigation expertise. He has earned a reputation as one of the best business and real estate trial lawyers in the Tri-County region, and has retained Super Lawyer status since 2009.
Theodore England maintains a diverse legal practice including business transactions, taxation, real property law, employee benefits, commercial law and estate planning. He has been certified by the State Bar of California as a Specialist in Taxation.
Gregory Herring is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California. He has been listed annually as a Super Lawyer since 2007 and as one of "Southern California's Best Lawyers" since 2008.
Wendy Lascher, a State Bar of California certified Specialist in Appellate Law, handles civil and criminal appeals in state and federal courts. Lascher, named Super Lawyer since 2007, has served as chair of the Appellate Law Advisory Commission of the Board of Legal Specialization and as president of the Ventura County Bar Association.
David Shain's practice focuses on personal injury and criminal defense. During his 35- year career, Shain has obtained judgments and settlements for his clients totaling millions of dollars.
