Lakeland Attorney Larry Anzalone Receives Florida Bar Board Certification in Workers' Compensation

Lawrence (Larry) Anzalone, a Burnetti, P.A. associate, has received his 6th consecutive Florida Bar Board Certification in Workers' Compensation law.

2014-03-02
TAMPA, FL, March 02, 2014 (Press-News.org) Lawrence (Larry) Anzalone, a Burnetti, P.A. associate, has received his 6th consecutive Florida Bar Board Certification in Workers' Compensation law. Certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the experience and competency of the attorney's area of law.

Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, Florida Bar Board Certification recognizes attorneys' professionalism and ethics in practice, plus special skills, knowledge, and proficiency in 24 areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida.

"I am pleased to announce that I have been honored with my 6th consecutive Florida Bar Board Certification in Workers' Compensation law. I have and remain one of a very small percentage of Florida attorneys with this distinction, and am proud to bring this experience to Burnetti P.A," said attorney Larry Anzalone.

To attain board certification in workers' compensation, attorneys must practice law on a full time basis for at least five years, with substantial involvement in the practice of workers' compensation law; demonstrate substantial involvement in the trial of a minimum of 25 contested workers' compensation cases all involving substantial legal or factual issues; pass peer review of competence in the specialty field; complete continuing legal education, and pass a written examination demonstrating knowledge, skills and proficiency in the field of workers' compensation to justify the representation of special competence.

The Florida Supreme Court established board certification to provide consumers with an objective measure to rely upon when selecting a lawyer and to identify qualified legal specialists dedicated to professional excellence.

Mr. Anzalone represents clients in workers' compensation claims, and has been with Burnetti, P.A. since 2013. He graduated from the University of Miami and received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
