Alberto Avaltroni Recognized for Achievements in Biotechnology

MILAN, ITALY, March 3, 2014 (Press-News.org) Celgene Corporation Business Unit Director, Alberto Avaltroni, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mr. Avaltroni has spent the past six years working his way up at Celgene Corporation, a biopharmaceutical company. His expertise and knowledge of the pharmaceutical field have brought him from business regional manager to his current position as business unit director. Throughout this well-earned transition, Mr. Avaltroni has developed significant experience in marketing pharmaceuticals. As business unit director, he uses his leadership skills to oversee a staff of 45. He is also in charge of managing the marketing department.

Before starting at Celgene Corporation, Mr. Avaltroni worked as a product specialist for Janssen-Cilag. He obtained this job after earning a Doctor of Pharmacy in chemistry and pharmacy from Università degli Studi di Torino in 1996. Since then, Mr. Avaltroni has received various awards in recognition of his achievments. He was honored with a Marketing Management Award, presented by Stanford University, and was recently inducted into Worldwide Branding.
