Creating "Another Shot" For An American Dream. Jason Dail Moves From Award Winning Architecture To Award Winning Photography

Jason Dail turned what many would consider a tragedy into vast opportunities transferring award winning architectural talents into a successful photography business

RALEIGH, NC, November 13, 2010

After being laid off from his job as an intern architect due to the economic downturn Jason Dail made the decision to implement both plans A & B simultaneously. Dail spent his days networking and searching for architectural jobs and nights marketing his secondary passion for photography. Launching a new website, jasondail.com as a bilateral assault on his future was a monumental effort. "I have never believed in 'following your dreams'. We create our dreams and achieve them through hard work and perseverance" says Dail in an interview.
Within months Jason Dail Photography was rapidly gaining ground on the architectural work. "I went from photographing my neighbors dogs to taking calls from Discovery Channel Network for photographic work literally overnight" says Dail. After working with Discovery Channel photographing Marshall Brain, the creator of "How Stuff Works" Dail focussed his efforts entirely on his growing photography business.
Jason Dail recently celebrated his first year as a full time photographer. Focusing primarily on weddings in this short period of time Dail's images and business practices have gained numerous industry awards. Jason Dail Photography has received three awards from Wedding Photographic Society, a Bride's Choice Award from Wedding Wire & Martha Stewart Weddings, and has been featured by WeddingChannel.com among industry blogs.
