POMPANO BEACH, FL, March 05, 2014 (Press-News.org) Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, creator of the world's first all-trampoline, walled playing court, will open a new park located at 1834 Southwest 2nd Street, Pompano Beach, Fla.
Beginning Thursday, March 6, Sky Zone Fort Lauderdale guests will find a seemingly endless sea of wall-to-wall trampoline courts under 36-foot ceilings. The community is invited to the March 6 grand opening between 3:30 and 9 p.m.
Sky Zone Fort Lauderdale has many trampoline-based offerings, including a main jump court, three dedicated dodgeball courts, a Sky Slam court with three basketball rims and a four-lane foam pit. Sky Zone will offer SkyFitness, an intense, low-impact fitness class that combines cardio and strength training to burn up to 1,000 calories per hour.
"We're ready to bring fun and fitness to the young and young at heart in the Greater Ft. Lauderdale area," said Sky Zone General Manager Alison Ziffer. "Sky Zone Fort Lauderdale has a 27,000 square foot facility with 147 connected trampolines to allow our guests to truly soar. We like to say that Sky Zone is exercise in disguise because it's so much fun. Our climate-controlled facility allows visitors to sweat from activity, not humidity."
Sky Zone offers several event options, including birthday parties, bat and bar mitzvahs and corporate team-building programs. Sky Zone Fort Lauderdale is offering a $50 discount for parties held between March 1 and March 14.
Open Jump hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 3:30 to 9 p.m.; Friday from 3:30 to 11 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Jumpapalooza (for all ages) is held on Fridays from 9 to 11 p.m. Participants receive a two-hour jump ticket and a drink with the price of admission. Sky Jam (for ages 16 and older) is held on Saturdays from 9 to 11 p.m. Participants receive a 1.5 hour jump ticket, two slices of pizza and a drink with the price of admission. Toddler time is held Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids 5 and under are $10 with one supervising adult jumper included.
Sky Zone costs include $9 for 30 minutes; $13 for 60 minutes; $17 for 90 minutes; $21 for 120 minutes. Special-grip socks are required on all trampolines and can be purchased for $2 a pair.
