ORLANDO, FL, March 07, 2014 (Press-News.org) In an initial three-year agreement, the official trade association for the resort industry in Canada has engaged Perspective Group to produce, manage and promote its annual event.
The Canadian Resort Development Association (CRDA) is a trade association dedicated to furthering the interests of the resort industry in Canada and throughout the world. The association and its nearly 50 member companies are committed to supporting the highest standards through a structured Code of Ethics which all CRDA members pledge to uphold.
Once per year, and alternating between locations in Eastern and Western Canada, the trade association arranges an annual networking event for its existing and prospective members, which Perspective Group will now produce.
"With the theme of 'exploring the business of vacations', we will bring together the industry's key players to learn, network and take advantage of B-2-B opportunities," said Jon Zwickel, CRDA's President & CEO. "We believe that our new relationship with Perspective Group will further establish our association as the voice of the Canadian resort industry."
Perspective Group is the leading independent PR and Multimedia Company for the vacation ownership industry globally. Over the past ten years its Perspective Magazine brand has assisted in bringing various regions of the world together with worldwide industry news and compelling articles.
In 2011, Perspective Group launched its own trade conference entitled, Global Networking Expo, which is more commonly known as the GNEX Conference. This platform extends Perspective Magazine's methodology and brings industry leaders from six continents together in one place to discuss and debate pertinent issues facing the vacation ownership industry on a global scale.
"We are honored to have been selected to produce this annual event on behalf of CRDA, and look forward to enhancing the profile of the Canadian Resort Development marketplace on a domestic and international level," says Paul Mattimoe, President & CEO, Perspective Group.
CRDA will soon announce a new name for the conference to appropriately reflect the immediate scope of the conference, that also allows for expansion into other associated segments of the resort and hospitality markets as member companies continue to adapt and diversify to meet the growing demands of the consumer.
The next CRDA Conference will be held in Toronto later this year. Dates and venue to be confirmed over the following weeks.
