Steffan Rygaard Honored for Accomplishments in Contact Lens Brands

Mr. Rygaard spearheaded online cost-effective optical solutions

Steffan Rygaard Honored for Accomplishments in Contact Lens Brands
2014-03-11
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, March 11, 2014 (Press-News.org) Steffan Rygaard, Director and Owner of Vision Direct Uk Ltd., has been recognized by Worldwide Branding for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in his profession.

The pioneer behind VisionDirect.co.uk, an online retailer that provides leading contact lens brands, is Mr. Steffan Rygaard. He spearheaded the campaign on behalf of every individual in the U.K. with optical needs. VisionDirect was able to create a gap in the market to offer the public a fully transparent and more cost-effective solution to their contact lens requirements through the power of the Internet.

Mr. Rygaard's mission began because he felt that contact lenses were extremely expensive and unattainable in the U.K., unless they were obtained through opticians. He understood that consumers needed and wanted to have cheaper and alternative sources for their replacement contact lenses. Therefore, he started the concept of the direct sales of optical products to the consumer in 1997, beginning with replacement contact lenses through VisionDirect.co.uk. With very little starting capital, and by keeping the overheads and costs minimal, his company offered prices that were up to 80 percent less than those offered by opticians.

His career and purpose have continued to flourish in the field. He has been in his current role for 16 years, with duties of meeting with different department heads of the company to discuss the operations of the individual departments. He is also the chairman and owner of the Lensbase Holding, a company located in Amsterdam with a global turnover of $20 million in 2013, and the director of Contact Lens Group B.V. and Amex bv. He is very skilled at influencing people to have an active interest in their work. In the future, Mr. Steffan Rygaard plans to grow the companies and make them even more profitable.

At end of January 2014, Steffan Rygaard sold his group of companies to Get Lenses Group Ltd for an undisclosed sum and remains on board for a further two years as a consultant. His holding company changed name from Lensbase Holding B.V. to SNR Investments Holding B.V.

Mr. Rygaard's success started with a solid educational foundation. He earned a Master of Arts in finance and investment and a Bachelor of Arts in managerial statistics, both from Exeter University. Recently inducted into Worldwide Branding, he also maintains a charitable affiliation as a board member of Projects Now, more at http://www.projectsnow.nl. Car Accident Compensation: The Insurance Policy Can Make the Difference

Car Accident Compensation: The Insurance Policy Can Make the Difference
2014-03-11

By the time of the accident, however, the victim's choice has already been made, and that choice of insurance policy may severely limit the victim's recovery. That is why the decision of what insurance policy to purchase should be an informed one, based on a bevy of important factors rather than just cost. In New Jersey, there are many types of automobile insurance policies and each carries with it different consequences if an accident ...
