Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine adds Nutritional Counseling to it's Fertility Program

Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM) is providing nutritional counseling, support and resources for patients as part of its comprehensive approach to fertility treatment.

ATLANTA, GA, November 14, 2010 (Press-News.org) Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine (ACRM) is providing nutritional counseling, support and resources for patients as part of its comprehensive approach to fertility treatment. Joining the practice, effective Wednesday, November 17, 2010, to lead its nutrition ( http://www.acrm.com ) program, is Paige Hall Espenship, RD .

"ACRM is excited to announce the addition of Paige Espenship to our program. We are pleased to be able to provide state of the art nutritional services in house. We know that our patients will have higher success rates when they achieve a healthier weight and healthier nutritional status. To be able to provide these services in our own offices has long been our desire," states Dr. Lisa A. Hasty, founding partner of ACRM.

Ms. Espenship earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University and certification as Registered Dietician from New York University, NY, NY. Paige began her career in nutrition in May, 2005 as a Registered Dietician with Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA and as the Outpatient Nutrition Program Developer for the Emory Clinic, also in Atlanta, GA.

Paige's focused interest in nutrition has taken her across the globe in researching other dietary issues in other cultures including the study of Mediterranean Diet and Culture in Madrid, Spain and Asian Diet and Culture in Thailand. Her experience also included work with the Cape Town Community Health Centers for Breastfeeding and HIV positive mothers in South Africa and the Vitagrant Research Project focusing on the Inner City Hispanic population in New York City.

One of the goals of ACRM is to provide comprehensive care to the "whole person" to reach the ultimate goal - a healthy baby. In addition to advanced fertility ( http://www.acrm.com ) diagnosis and treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF), ACRM is unique among infertility programs in the Atlanta area for offering on-site acupuncture, psychological counseling support and nutritional counseling support, with all of these services provided by professionally licensed practitioners.
