LOS ANGELES, CA, March 12, 2014 (Press-News.org) The Addictions Coach and its sister company, The Addictions Academy, are offering an Intensive Certification Course in Recovery Coaching and Intervention at Aurora Charter Oak Hospital, on March 14-15, 2014 to provide CEU's for professionals and set standards in the industry.
The Addiction Academy's Recovery Coaching and Intervention Certification meets all state and federal requirements and is backed by NAADAC and CAADAC for 16 CEUs. The course will teach professionals how to provide proper Recovery Coaching and Intervention services that incorporate HIPPA and legal requirements.
"We are pleased to announce that Aurora Charter Oak Hospital in Covina California will be hosting us to offer our Intensive program," Cali Estes, owner of The Addictions Academy said. "Our programs will give you all the skills needed to add Recovery or Sober Coaching and Intervention to your practice or start your own company."
The Addictions Academy is the only evidence based best practices model that is National in nature and meets all state requirements by reciprocity. The National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC) has approved The Addictions Academy as an Educational Provider for both courses. California's Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC) has approved The Addictions Academy for both courses and the coveted ISE Endorsement which meets the 40 hour CEU requirement in all states.
"We offer both webinar and live courses," Cali Estes said. "We make it fun and engaging and deliver all of the necessary materials in an experiential way that includes the auditory, visual and hand on means of learning. We also do not subscribe to one style of Intervention or Coaching and offer our students plenty of options to use when dealing with their clients in a professional setting."
The Addictions Academy courses are taught by Master's level therapists and offered via webinar, live virtual classroom and LIVE on site locations. Cali Estes is available to travel to a business location as well for more private classes for the business or drug and alcohol treatment organization. She has over 18 years in the industry alone.
The Addictions Academy offers Recovery Coaching levels I and II,III, Intervention, Intervention with the ISE Endorsement, Anger Management, Case Management, Family Coaching, Christian Recovery Coaching and Eating Disorder Coaching. All courses live and via webinar.
Named Best of Miami, 2013 The Addictions Coach and The Addictions Academy offer a select group of services to those that need help from an addiction and those that want to learn more about addictions. We are progressive thinkers and believe that one style of drug and alcohol treatment or addiction treatment does not fit every client and one style of training does not fit every professional. We step outside the box. We offer our blend of therapy and recovery coaching to our clients and we have been chosen to offer a progressive forward thinking set of classes to professionals.
