WATERLOO, ONTARIO, CANADA, March 14, 2014 (Press-News.org) Erika Traub, Criminal Defense Lawyer and Political Candidate, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her career as a public servant.

Ms. Traub has 22 years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer, and she has recently declared her candidacy for the mayorship of Waterloo. As a legal professional, she has gained considerable experience in advocacy, as well as legal representation of clients in criminal court. In so doing, she has also gained the necessary skills to represent the best interests of the people of Waterloo as mayor.
Looking back over her career, Ms. Traub attributes her success to her integrity and hard work. She became involved in her profession because she always had an interest in social justice, and wanted to become an advocate for the underdog and social causes. She has been practicing law in Kitchener-Waterloo since 1992.

Ms. Traub received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa in 1990. In order to maintain contact with other legal professionals, she became a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. Voting day for the position of mayor is October 27, 2014, and Ms. Traub urges voters to head to the polls and support their candidates.
