Dionysus Packs a Hardstyle EDM Punch With His Amsterdam Dreams Remix of 'Proxy' by Martin Garrix

With incredible quickness, Dionysus releases his remix on the same day that the original mix was released to the world.

LOS ANGELES, CA, March 14, 2014 (Press-News.org) On the heels of his latest album, Dionysus pulls out of thin air an intense hardstyle remix of Martin Garrix's latest track Proxy. Continuing with his 'dream' theme, the Dionysus version is titled Proxy the Amsterdam Dreams Remix. Not only is this Amsterdam Dreams remix the first attempt at hardstyle by veteran producer Dionysus, but it was also released the same day that the original track was released!

Despite the fact that this remix is a huge change for Dionysus, the response has been tremendously positive. When asked how he was able to accomplish such a feat so quickly, Dionysus cracked a sly smile and quietly whispered "We all have our secrets."

Dionysus was more forthcoming about the departure from his usual style. He candidly said "People might be surprised about this new sound, but I have been thinking about doing a hardstyle track for quite some time. Regardless of the genre switch, I believe that keen listeners will still be able to hear my musical voice."

The idea that a composer's musical voice can be heard throughout a wide variety of styles may seem far fetched, but with respect to Dionysus and his music this concept is absolutely true. Over the years, he has produced tracks in many different electronic dance music genres. In each style you can still hear that it is Dionysus behind the scenes pulling levers like a classically influenced Wizard of Oz.

After this unexpected release, we can only speculate about what the EDM artist Dionysus has in store for us next.
