affordable lunch.
The company, owned by Lynda Washington, has been in operation for nearly two years though she had
been doing festivals and events throughout GA. Now, Washington has expanded her menu to include such
items as the Spicy Roast Beef Wrap ($7.99) which includes Cajun Roasted Beef with Arugula, Blue Cheese
Crumbles, Sauteed Bell Peppers and Onions, and Cucumbers in Spinach Wrap; the Cremini Turkey Burger
($8.99) which includes Ground Turkey cooked to your temperature, topped with Cremini Mushrooms and
Provolone Cheese on a Whole Wheat or White Bun; and delicious Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup ($5.99
for a bowl, $3.99 for a cup). All sandwiches and wraps come with a side of your choice; Veggie Chips,
Fresh, Seasonal Fruit Salad and Spicy Potato Salad.
Due to popular demand, Washington is also adding her famous Turkey Wrap and Homemade French-Cut
Potato Fries to her delivery menu as well. You are going to love the Turkey Wrap ($7.99), it comes with
Oven-Roasted Turkey, Roasted Tomatoes, Scallions, Aged-White Cheddar and Sauteed Cremini
Mushrooms in an Herb Wrap. The Homemade French Fries, available as a side with sandwiches and
wraps, are thick-cut and deep-fried in Olive Oil, tossed lightly in Sea Salt.
"We are excited as the prospect of serving Atlantans who are interested in healthful, delicious food,"
explains Washington. With clients like Life University, MARTA and Cobb Galleria already lining up for
her food, the Double Decker Sandwich Shop is sure to become renowned as a locally-owned
delivery-service. Washington says her next goal is to "join the burgeoning street food folks out there like
The Pickle and The Good Food Truck." Eventually, she will be delivering and serving street food from a
food truck, but for now, she is excited to be doing Georgia festivals and serving clients in the metro Atlanta
area.
The Double Decker Sandwich Shop also offers Sandwich Trays and Wrap Trays for larger orders which
