HOUSTON, TX, March 16, 2014 (Press-News.org) Latrecia (Nikki) Antwine is excited to make her acting debut in the play "Just As I Am", written, directed and produced by Curtis Von of Acting Bad Productions. It explores the lives of a group of professional women with very different personalities who all belong to an organization celebrating the curvy diva.
Through the exploration of the actresses' characters, the audience will discover how when women unite through a common denominator they can build confidence, self-awareness, and in turn, pay it forward. Throughout the play, the women will end up discovering so much more about themselves and their strengths than what they had imagined. "Just as I Am" provides the audience with an in-depth look at how the joining paths can create amazing things.
Latrecia Antwine is a woman of God, wife, mother, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and consultant. She is the owner of Miracles & Blessings Salon II and Founder/CEO of SizeSexyDivas, Inc. both based out of Houston Texas.
When asked what inspired her to do what she does, Nikki replied, "I've always been a voluptuous girl but I haven't always had the confidence to go with it. In 2007 I went to a model call for plus size women being held by the comedian MoNique for a show called MoNique's Phat Chance. It was a show centered on highlighting the positive side of being a plus size women in a world where it's so frowned on. I made it to the last round but I didn't get the part, however that was the confidence boost I needed to come back to Houston and form SizeSexyDivas which is a Christian based organization put in place to encourage, empower, embrace and promote all things SizeSexy!"
In addition to providing the audience with an enjoyable theatrical experience, there will also vendor booths featuring a wide variety of SizeSexy items, including t-shirts, arm bands, buttons and so much more. For ticket information or to purchase tickets visit Nikki Antwine online at Life Camera Action (http://itslifecameraaction.wix.com/life-camera-action#!services/c1h6a). Those in attendance will have the opportunity to witness the first play written for SizeSexy women. It features a case of SizeSexy women who empower one another to deal with the struggles life presents to full figured women.
